These are some of my favorite ab workouts Raise legs by flexing hips and knees until hips are fully flexed. Rectus Abdominis and Obliques only dynamically contract only if actual waist flexion occurs. With no waist flexion, Rectus Abdominis and External Oblique will only isometrically contract to stabilize pelvis and waist during hip flexion.

@bubbyg123 ok so if i am feeling it in my hip flexer its normal right?? in that case….i’m gonna keep going for it…cuz i really wanna get my abs shredded!!
bubbyg123 says:
@Nutbuster360 Keep doing these leg raises because it will eventually strengthen your core which includes your hip flexors. Then it wont hurt as much anymore.
bubbyg123 says:
@Nutbuster360 hey man ever since i was a kid i used to have hip flexor problems. I pulled my hipflexor and it was very bad. When i was around 12 years old i started doing stomach and the same thing happening to you happened to me. I kept on even though it hurt my hip flexor. Eventually, my hip flexors would get sore, but not my stomach. I kept doing this and my hip flexors actually became stronger and I know longer have any hip flexor problems; leg raises do not hurt my hip flexors anymore

I’m just trying to help people?..
- Having a bodyfat under 8-10 should do most of the work, but then you have to focus on the size.
By the way, yes, I may be more fat than him, but I really dont care at all. I’m happy with my body as it is ( around 8-10 % fat )
Keep training (;
blake33a says:
@ThePwnerz guarantee that your are fatter and less defined and are trying to make yourself feel better

@jgq85
Gain some bigger ab muscles. Your bodyfat % is fine now. Just work on the size (;

Question:
I’m 5’7″ at 131lbs, 6.9 % body fat.
I can’t see my abs without flexing.
Do I need to burn more body fat to see my abs, or can I just do more advanced ab workouts to grow the muscle to become more visible?
